Saying “No” is common among toddlers and preschoolers or even teens.It could be related to any subject . Whether getting ready for school, study , following bed time, play time , screen time etc.and it can be frustrating to the parents some time. So, first let us understand why kids say “NO”
1.How many times a day you say the word “No” to your child?🤔
2.Are we just giving them orders or asking for their choices?🤔
3.They are learning to make decisions .
4. Sometime they actually dont want to do certain things .
5. Their way of saying “No” is simple way for her to feel Important and strong . .

How to respond when child say “No”
1. Understanding and managing your own trigger
2. See the situation from child’s perspective is very important
3. Give them “power of choice/control”. So that they can make decisions for themselves .
4. May be for us it is a small thing but its a big thing for them . Its better, if offer comfort rather than telling consequences.
5. Don’t react right away
6. Rather than saying direct “No” to them give alternative options for things .
